The club is saddened to hear of the passing of former Colts and 1st Team head coach Denis Brown.

Denis lead the first team for a number in years in the 90s and resided over one of the most successful periods in terms of rugby success.

His legacy at the Leigh RUFC lives on in many of the current volunteers and coaches throughout the club at all levels who where fortunate enough to play under his tenure and who no doubt where influenced in a positive way by the time and effort he put into the club, the teams he coached and the individual players he developed.

We send our thoughts & condolences to his wife Christine and son Matthew at this sad time and there will be a minutes silence before the local derby ay Tyldesley this Saturday
