The Bulldogs made the very short journey to local rivals Tyldesley on the back of an excellent Lancs Cup win.
Over the years the games have been closely fought with the Bulldogs gaining the upper hand in recent contests.
The Bulldogs made a dream start with Leo charging through from a scrum to feed to Sammy who scored the first try. Ethan converted (0-7).
Tyldesley hit straight back to level the scores with a converted try (7-7).
Just before half time, the home team hit the front with an unconverted try (12-7).

With the Bulldogs making forced and impact changes in the second half, Tyldesley dominance began to pay divided.
Tyldesley extended their lead with a converted try (19-7) and despite the Bulldogs determination and resilience the home team added another converted try (26- 7) which was the final score of the game.
