The Bulldogs welcomed Warrington to Hand Lane following last weeks heavy loss against Southport.
Despite missing captain Will, the Bulldogs were boosted by the return of many players including a first season outing for Isaac.
The impressive visitors had proved victorious in all recent games and were runners up in last seasons Lancashire Cup.
Warrington made a flying start with pressure from the kick off which resulted in a clearing kick taken by the full back who beat the defence on the outside for the opening try. The difficult conversion was missed.
With the Bulldogs getting a foothold in the game through strong attack and defence, Isaac found some space out wide and deftly chipped the full back to score an excellent try under the posts. Noah added the extras to put the Bulldogs in front.
Mistakes, defence, indiscipline and confident attacking from both teams saw the final 15 minutes of the half play out without further score.
HT: 7-5
Warrington hit the front 5 minutes after the break with a strong run from a penalty giving field position for a try from close range. The conversion was successful.
Following a second interception from Owen, the Bulldogs almost got back in front with Isaac being adjudged of failing to ground what would have been a fantastic try.
With the Bulldogs building field position, Isaac made no mistake with a superb touchline dive to level the scores. Noah agonisingly hit the post with the conversion.
With tempers flaring the game descended into chaos. With ten minutes to go the referee sensibly brought the game to a premature end.
FT: 12-12
