A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers!

Bonfire Night at Leigh RUFC is one of the highlights of our community calendar. But none of it would happen without the incredible people who give up their time to make it possible.

From building the bonfire and preparing the grounds to organising the fireworks, running the stalls, serving food and drinks, managing the car parks, welcoming visitors and clearing everything away afterwards, there is an enormous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes.

And much of that work happens long before the gates open and continues well after the last visitor has gone home.

We also want to thank everyone who supported the event through fundraising, donations, sponsorship and practical help, as well as the families, friends and local community who came along and enjoyed the evening.

The photographs accompanying this article show just some of the wonderful people involved. There are many more who aren't pictured, and our thanks go to every single one of you.
