New Pitch Update #2 ~ Pitch layout

Details of the pitch position are in the schematic above. The lower edge is parallel to the 2nd team pitch.

• The pitch will be in a much closer proximity to the clubhouse than the Thames Ave site. It will be a fullsized, RFU standard, grassed pitch with 1.2m high spectator fencing fully enclosing the area.
• There will be 10metre in-goal areas with a 5metre runoff around the playing area.
• This will be accessable by a hard standing path leading to a new access bridge over the ditch.
• There will be 260+metres of 2m high,wire mesh fencing along Carr Lane and down the westerly length to limit unauthorised access.Behind the posts will be 6m high ball stop fencing.
• A double gate will be installed along Carr Lane for emergency access only and a single gate along the western fence for ball retrival.

A hard standing pathway/standing area for spectators adjacent to the eastern touch line is being considered but is not part of this project
