Leigh travelled to Warrington yesterday and sadly only came away with a losing bonus point as they were narrowly beaten by 26 points to 22.
Leigh took the lead through a Rob Drake penalty, followed by a try from Alex Leadbetter, which Rob Drake converted.
Warrington replied with a converted try and a penalty to take the sides off at the break with the score at 10 points each.
It was Warrington that went out into a healthy lead in the second half, with three penalties and a converted try, to put them 16 points ahead.
Leigh rallied and fought back with a try from Matty Rudd, which Rob Drake converted, followed by a try from Marcus Morris-Williams, to push Warrington close but in the end it was Warrington that emerged victorious.
Next week Leigh entertain Keswick at Round Ash Park K.O. 3 p.m.
