Leigh notched up seven tries in each half, ten of which were converted by the boot of Rob Drake.
This was a one sided contest with Upper Eden suffering a heavy defeat to put an end to their season. Leigh, oozing confidence were chalking up points as early as the second minute, skipper Iain Wood crossing the line for a converted try. From then on it was tries scored at regular intervals - Olly Shepherd four minutes, Sean McDonald ten minutes, full back Jimmy Wilkinson, with a hat trick of tries, scored in the sixteenth, twenty seventh and thirtieth minute.
The first half scoring ended with Ryan McKinstry placing the ball between the post. Half time 45 - 0.
Starting the second half Leigh's Olly Shepherd scampered over after fifty seconds of play. At this stage of the game Leigh's new additions to the squad were starting ruffle their feathers, Dan Hunter, Rob Drake, Wayne McCabe, Elliott Ryan, Keiron Duffy and Sean McDonald all making contributions to this improving Leigh team.
The powerful Leigh pack providing quality ball and constantly breaking the game line gave the speedy Leigh three quarters all the time in the world to rack up another six tries.
Elliot Ryan with a brace, Ryan McKinstry with his second, Sean McDonald adding his second try, Dave Woods, Rob Drake and Keiron Duffy ended Leigh's scoring.
A consolation converted try was scored by the visitors.
Fourteen tries scored, thirteen by the three quarters was testament to a comprehensive victory by the Leigh team. In a game so one sided it is not easy to pick an outstanding player, however, Paul Trumble in the back row gave a sterling display.
Remaining home fixture on Saturday next will be at home to Liverpool St. Helens.
The outcome of this game will decide which team gains promotion to N1W.
